Meet the Staff

Rukmani joined our Home in 2007 and is the Matron and Overall-in-charge of the Staff. She is a great organizer and supervises all the Staff of the Home. She plans a nutritious menu daily with utmost care, keeping all sick residents in mind. She also supervises the administration of medicines to all residents. She is a valuable asset to the Home.

Sandeep joined us in 2007 and is the Head Chef of Karunalaya. He prepares very tasty and nutritious vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals for the residents. He is very particular about wasting food and ensures nothing goes to waste!

Manish joined our Home in 2007 and is in-charge of the Male Dormitory. He bathes the paralyzed residents, helps them use the toilet and changes their clothes for them. Sometimes, handling the male residents can be quite a challenge, but Mr. Manish looks after them willingly and always with a smiling face.

Pauline joined us in 2006 and is in-charge of the Female Dormitory. She keeps the dormitory very clean at all times even though some residents soil their beds at night. She bathes them, feeds and helps them use the toilet.

Sushma joined us in 2007 and is in-charge of the very old & blind female residents and those female residents in wheelchairs. She provides the extra care and effort that is required to help those female residents that cannot help themselves.

Bani joined our Home in 2008 and is in-charge of keeping the Kitchen, Dining Hall, Dormitories and all pathways clean at all times. She also helps with feeding the residents whenever she can.

Noel joined our Home in 2007 and is the designated Driver of the Home. He is a very humble, prayerful and hard-working individual. Being the only driver for the Home, his work sometimes involves many back and forth trips at odd hours, but he is always there to assist the residents or Mrs. Anita whenever needed with a smile.

Barbara joined us in 2005 and is in-charge of washing and drying of the clothes of the residents. She single-handedly washes all the linen of the Home. She even assists with the dish washing whenever she can.

Maria joined our home in 2011. She is at our Goa home. She helps to wash the clothes of the residents. She takes very good care of the residents and always has an ever-smiling face.

Lucy joined our home in 2011. She is also at our Goa home. Lucy looks after the female residents. She is very gentle in her ways and looks after the residents lovingly.

Munka joined in 2011 and is in our Goa home. He looks after the male residents. Munka is a perfectionist at his work and mingles with the staff and residents at ease. He has a jovial personality, very affectionate and hard working.

No home is complete without a good cook! Sunil joined our home in 2011 and is the chef of the Karunalaya Goa home. He cooks fresh food daily and ensure all meals are nutritious and healthy for the residents.
